Not one, but three final exhibitions in Slovakia this year! What do you do when there are hundreds and hundreds of students all over the country collaborating in MyMachine? To secure proximity for the involved students, MyMachine Slovakia organises final exhibitions in Banská Bystrica, Kosice, and (capitol) Bratislava.
Here’s a glimpse of how the Dream Machines elaborated by students in the Banská Bystrica region went on display. Obviously, the students know the Dream Machine they worked on for months, but here they could discover the other Dream Machines from the other schools in different towns throughout the region!
It was total bliss! This ‘please-do-touch’-exhibition makes the strong case that celebrating is a vital element of a successful, enduring collaboration! We saw nothing but excitement after all those months of hard work. We are still processing the onslaught of emotions. It was amazing to see students’ satisfaction from a job well done, and the joy of children from their finished inventions like The Flying Rucksack, The Mug-That-Shows-How-Hot-Or-Cold-The-Drink-Is, and The-Help-Cleaning-And-Cooking-Computer-Game.
