Evidence of Charitable Status of MyMachine

MyMachine is a for-mission, non-profit that uses the transformative power of co-creation to help build Creative Confidence and (life) skills like communication, critical thinking and empathy in students from primary, secondary and higher education.

The MyMachine Global Foundation is an officially registered charity (for mission, non-profit organisation) in Belgium, Europe.

Filing our annual accounts with the Commercial Court in Belgium.

In accordance with Belgian legislation, MyMachine is recognised as a so-called Small Non-Profit:
“Small Non-Profit Organisations and International Non-Profit Organisations are those which, on the balance sheet date of the most recent financial year, do not exceed more than one of the following criteria:
— annual average number of employees: 50;
— annual turnover, excluding value added tax: 11,250,000 euros;
— balance sheet total: 6,000,000 euros.”

In accordance with this Belgian legislation, MyMachine files its annual accounts on paper with the Commercial Court in Kortrijk, Belgium.

The Belgian Small Non-Profit MyMachine itself has an annual turnover of approximately 230k euros. We also have established partnerships with organisations in different countries that set up MyMachine Chapters. Those organisations are independent from MyMachine, and locally led. Aggregating their respective financial efforts to run MyMachine across their respective countries brings the annual turnover to an estimated 1.5 to 2 million euros.
