We are deeply honoured and grateful for the response we got on our annual campaign. We invited primary school teachers around the world to join with their students. Teachers in 13 countries on three continents joined (Belgium, Canada, Croatia, India, Italy, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Mozambique, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA). 748 students invented their Dream Machine. From the Wake-Me-Up-In-A-Pleasant-Way Machine, The Peace Machine, The Store-My-Memories Machine, The Tree-Protector Machine to the Mirror-Of-Truth Machine, and many others.
We have selected 30 Dream Machines. This is not a competition. It’s like “winning the lottery”. Now University students at Monterrey Tech (Mexico) and TEC Costa Rica (Costa Rica) are creating a design for those selected ideas. They will produce a Proof-Of-Concept which is typically a scale model of the design. They will document their work, and produce a video in which they explain how their Proof-Of-Concept is designed, and how it works. By the end of May, all these amazing documented design details will go back to the ‘clients’: the primary school children.
Stay tuned to see the progress!
