On 13th and 14th of October 2011, 200 children from 9 different elementary schools in Belgium, started creating their own dream machines. They invented, described and made drawings of their own dream machine. Howest University of Applied
Sciences Industrial Design students helped them out. In some elementary schools, the pupils of technical high schools joined as well. Eventually the classes pick their 3 most beautiful or craziest ideas. One of those ideas will later on become reality.
There’s also a team of Howest University of Applied Sciences Digital Arts & Entertainment joining in: they will design a second MyMachine 3D-computergame.
Are you curious about what machines are being invented? The pressclippings below are revealing a little tip of the iceberg.
