Here’s a sneak peek into the concepts for Dream Machines invented by primary students in Barcelona! Check out these wonderful videos! They are made, to explain the concept to the primary students, by the university students from Elisava, Barcelona School of Design and Engineering involved in the first pilot of MyMachine Catalonia (Spain).
It really is a blast to see Maquina Pastissos, Caixa Magica, Gel, and Conta-Contes coming to life! And a very first for MyMachine is that the university students collectively decided to elaborate these 4 different Dream Machines as one product family, by using the same design framework. Once produced, these 4 Dream Machines will truly look like 4 sisters or brothers :), but will have totally different functionalities.
We can’t wait to hear about how these students learned while doing all this creative co-creation work! Stay tuned to see the actual working prototypes once these are built by the involved vocational schools.
Thank you so much to all students and educators involved from Escola Goar, Escola GEM Mataró, Escola Paidos, Escola Petit Món-Felisa Bastida, Institut de Vic, and Elisava, and the MyMachine Catalonia team at Fundacio Tr@ms!
Here’s an exploded view for these 4 Dream Machines in the making:
