The second stage of the MyMachine methodology consists of designing the concept for the Dream Machine. University students develop technical drawings and proofs-of-concept for the Dream Machines invented by the primary school children.
In Obidos we have an extraordinary university partner that collaborates in this second stage, the Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.CR). These university students introduced their technical drawings and concepts to their customers. The children were invited to give final feedback.
As you can imagine, this is a dynamic context. One that creates a high level of honesty in as the children know very well what they want! Thank you so much to the children of Arcos and Alvito for their super relevant feedback.
Shortly, we will be back at the university with child-inventors of the Furadouro School. And once we are done with this second phase we will start the third and final phase which is building the machines. So stay tuned for more inspiring news from Portugal!
