Every year the King Baudouin Foundation organises a fundraiser for its Community Foundation West-Flanders (home to MyMachine co-founder Jan Despiegelaere). As has been the case in one of the previous editions a couple of years back, MyMachine Flanders & Brussels was highlighted as an example of how an education approach can add to the community building process. MyMachine Flanders & Brussels coordinator Aagje Beirens took the stage for a brief interview with the king and queen in the audience.
This has been the third time that MyMachine got the attention of the Belgian royals. Unfortunately, we still haven’t been able to figure out what their dream machine is. In this case, we hope the fourth time will be a charm.
