Yesterday the university students participating in MyMachine South Africa went to the primary schools for the ideation of dream machines.

The question “What Is Your Dream Machine?” unlocked the creativity and imagination of children of two Grade 1 classes and sparked the creation of 53 Dream Machine Ideas. Engineering students from University of Cape Town visited Steynville Primary School and Piketberg High School to facilitate creativity workshops with two grade 1 classes to get their dream machine ideas.

The next step will see the students come up with Concepts/Designs from those dream machine ideas after which those concepts will be returned to the children for approval.
