Writing history in Armenia! On November 9th, the first MyMachine Armenia cycle got off to a great start at the Dilijan Community Center. Students, members and professors of the Engineering Faculty from the American University, and a lot of young dreamers from Dilijan primary schools got together to start the ideation of Dream Machines!
After meeting with the university students in the capital Yerevan, our team travelled to Dilijan to finalise preparations and ensure everything was ready for this special day for the participating primary school students. The ideation event started with engaging warm-up activities to break the ice and energise everyone. The primary school students then unleashed their creativity by drawing their Dream Machines. Their enthusiasm and imaginative ideas were inspiring! The day concluded with a festive atmosphere featuring dancing, treats for everyone, and even a few parents who joined in the celebration.
Then the university students visited the UWC Dilijan Fablab to explore potential resources and tools that could be utilised to produce the working prototype.
We are super excited and can’t wait to hear their stories, what they invented, and what they will learn along the way.
Thank you so much to all students and educators involved and to our MyMachine Armenia team, led by Lilia Mkrtumyan at Scholae Mundi!
