Zcechia is building its first batch of Dream Machines!

After months of inventing, designing and tuning, the moment has come: ideas are starting to turn into reality. The high school teams gradually took over the materials from the university students: technical drawings, 3D models and solution proposals. They embarked on the next phase: building Working Prototypes.

Each team now faces the challenge of turning a childhood dream into reality. This means not only assembling individual parts but also often considering materials, adjusting designs to real possibilities, and seeking smart technical solutions. This is where the importance of cooperation across schools becomes clear: what started as a drawing on paper takes on a concrete form through joint efforts.

Not all schools have their own workshops or the necessary equipment. And that is exactly why MyMachine is truly open to everyone. These student teams can use the facilities of FabLab Brno or the workshops of our partner, Robotárna, which provide the necessary technology and support from experienced lecturers. They help not only with operating the machines but also with practical solutions to problems that naturally arise when building prototypes.

This phase of MyMachine is full of experimentation and finding solutions. But that is also part of it. It is here that the students learn the most important thing – how to turn an idea into reality, work as part of a team, and not give up when things don’t go well the first time. We can’t wait to see what all will come out of their work.

Thank you so much to all involved students and educators and our amazing team at MyMachine Czechia.
