The imagination and creativity of primary school children at Princeton School of Prishtina have no boundaries. These children could invent anything they want. Something that brings joy, or helps a loved one, or is a solution to a local or global issue. The blank piece of paper is a giant canvas that invites them to inspire us, the adults, with their unlimited creativity. One that is still not flooded by general knowledge that tends to limit creative thinking, once an adult.
After inventing, each child gets to present their idea to the group. An anonymous voting takes place, to select two ideas that will move on to the next phase. Students at the University of Pristina will design different concepts for those ideas. These concepts will be presented to the child-inventors to gain their feedback.
We can’t wait to see this Kosovar creativity continue to unfold! Many thanks to all involved students and educators, and our MyMachine Kosovo team, led by Besim Mustafa.
