Guiding Principles For The USe Of GenAI in MyMachine

At MyMachine, we believe in the transformative power of entrepreneurship, imagination and creativity. Our mission is to empower students across the world to bring their ideas to life by inventing and building working prototypes of their own “Dream Machines.” Through a unique, multidisciplinary, and collaborative process, we connect primary, secondary, and university students to co-create solutions — developing critical skills for the future in the process.

As generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) becomes increasingly integrated into society, it is crucial that we understand its role in creative education.

GenAI has the potential to enrich learning experiences, amplify human creativity, and support innovative thinking. At the same time, we must ensure its use remains ethical, inclusive, and in harmony with the foundational principles that guide the MyMachine methodology: student-driven ideation, learner ownership, co-creation, and meaningful making. This document outlines our guiding principles for the responsible, creative, and ethical use of GenAI within the MyMachine Global Network.
