Global CrossBorder CrossContinent CoCreation

First, we collect Dream Machine ideas from children in primary classes on all continents. Then we connect these to over one hundred university students in Mexico and Costa Rica who design them into proofs-of-concept. That just happened, for real!

Earlier this year, we launched our MyMachine DreamsDrop Campaign 2025 to Primary School Teachers around the globe. We are deeply honoured and grateful for the response we received to our annual campaign.

We have selected 45 Dream Machines. This is not a competition. It’s like “winning the lottery”. University students at Monterrey Tech (Mexico) —guided by professor Rubén Vázquez Esquivel and professor Ayca Kinik— and TEC Costa Rica (Costa Rica) —guided by professor Luis Carlos Araya-Rojas— designed a proof-of-concept for those selected ideas, like a.o.

  • The Hand-Raising-Machine
  • The Tree-Protector
  • The Sad-To-Happy
  • The Rainbow-Of-Toys
  • The Paper-Aircraft-Builder
  • The SnackSip
  • and many others.

These university students conceptualised the ideas between March and May. We are excited to share their results! They show commitment and creativity! Follow this link to discover all the results: photos, videos, and the original drawings from the children.

All involved students learn that ideas matter and how to bring ideas to life. They learn that the world is malleable, and that they can also contribute to society, rather than just being a consumer of it.

Thank you so much to all educators involved and to all students for putting this much energy, commitment, creativity and persistence in bringing those Dream Machine ideas to life!
