We are thrilled to announce the launch of the second year of MyMachine Armenia, a proud initiative of Scholae Mundi Armenia and part of the MyMachine Global network.
The launch event took place at the DCC (Dilijan Community Center), bringing together a vibrant mix of primary school children, students from the American University of Armenia (AUA), and professors from the AUA College of Science and Engineering. Joined by eager parents and guests, the atmosphere was festive.
To break the ice, the students organised interactive warm-up games. From “birth month” connections to pencil challenges, the highlight was undoubtedly the Marshmallow and Spaghetti Challenge. Teams raced to build the tallest marshmallow castle, facing a test of both engineering skill and willpower, resisting the urge to snack on the delicious building blocks! In the end, while gravity was a challenge, friendship was the real winner. We believe that creativity flourishes not through competition, but through collaboration.
Following the fun, the real work began. With art supplies in hand and their imaginations engaged, the children started designing their “Dream Machines.” The kids worked together to choose the inventions they felt they truly needed and continued to develop those ideas.
This is truly a genuine connection between generations, and we can’t wait to see how these drawings will transform into working prototypes in the months to come!

Thank you so much to our MyMachine Armenia team at Scholae Mundi!
